Lieutenant Ackerman is one of Harry Callahan's superiors in the final film the Dead Pool.
He works in Public Relations. He is critical of Harry and wants him to be more cooperative with the news reporters. He is mainly just concerned with the Department's public image. He is quite carless in some of his comments such as Al Quan improving the Department's image becuase of being Chinese.
